Thermostats & Sensors
The RCS TR-16 and TR-40 communicating thermostats function as stand alone thermostat subsystems with communications to allow remote data acquisition and control of the units.
These universal models work with Standard (Gas forced Air), Heatpump, Hydronic and Radiant heating and cooling systems. Supports newer Multi-stage equipment with up to 3 stages of heating and 2 stages of cooling. All thermostat functions can be monitored or controlled via network commands.
No new wires are needed to run out to the thermostat wall location. A unique, two part design places the thermostat control unit at the mechanical system and a wall display unit at the thermostat on wall location. Only four wires are used to interconnect the two units.
The RS21 and OS21 are wall mounted remote temperature sensors that communicate via STARGATE's RS485 twisted pair network The RS15 is an indoor remote temperature sensor that connects to an RCS thermostat's wall display unit to provide temperature information from an alternate location.
Network functions supported:
- Report Temperature: -20 to 127 degrees F
- Set Network Address: 1 to 254
- Set or report Temperature Mode: F or C
- Set or report Calibration Offset: +/- 10 degrees
